Maintenance and
cleaning
Our ventilation units are powerful and reliable. To keep them that way, they require regular maintenance and cleaning.
Cleaning and maintaining ventilation systems
Ventilation systems require proper maintenance and regular cleaning. This guarantees a long service life, while also promoting performance and energy efficiency. You will find some helpful tips on this topic below.
For reasons of hygiene and to keep ventilation units working properly, it is critical for residents to regularly change air filters.
What happens if you don’t change the filters?
– Increased power consumption
– Noisier operation
– Increased maintenance
– Improper ventilation
– Ventilation pipes require earlier cleaning
Based on DIN 1946-6 ‘Ventilation for residential buildings’, we recommend replacing air filters on a semiannual basis, but no later than after one year. Filters should always be replaced in pairs. For more information, please read the operating and maintenance instructions for your unit.

As the manufacturer, we do not directly offer maintenance and cleaning services. We recommend contacting a specialist company for your cleaning and maintenance needs. Two specialist companies in Germany who have received training on our units are Günther Bautechnik and Kevin Dickgießer.
