SUSTAINABLE VENTILATION

Save energy and protect the environment with comfort ventilation with heat recovery

We all want to do our bit towards protecting the environment and saving resources. Sadly this often means having to compromise – but not with our comfort ventilation system! With our units you are doing something good for the environment and yourself.

Energy saving

The high heat recovery efficiency of up to 94% allows heating energy to be reduced by up to roughly 50%*. This not only cuts CO2 emissions by a similar order of magnitude, but it reduces heating costs as well. The ventilation units also run with a low electronic output. Again saving CO2 and money.

Creating sustainable critical mass

Ventilation units with heat recovery saving 11 million tonnes of CO2 per year – it might appear surreal at first glance, but it could indeed become reality by 2045*. There have already been calls to reach this goal from the Federation of the German Heating Industry (BDH) and the Heating and Ventilation Industry Association (FGK). They call for recognition of heat recovery from a building’s extract air as a renewable energy. They also want ventilation systems with heat recovery to be a mandatory standard in new builds. Attractive grants should be provided for wide-scale retrofits during renovation work.

Good for the (indoor) climate

A comfort ventilation system is not only healthy for the environment – it is great for residents too. The M-WRG-II is equipped as standard with a fine particulate filter to ISO ePM1 60% (F7) and is hygiene-certified to VDI 6022 sheet 1. This series of units is also optionally available with moisture recovery based on enthalpy exchangers and with CO2 and humidity sensors. This improves the air quality and protects against moisture and mould damage.

Environmental protection meets noise protection

Despite the high air renewal rate, the M-WRG-II series runs extremely quietly (inherent noise from LpA, 10 m² = 8.4 dB(A)). Outside noise is also eliminated with soundproofing of D n,e,w up to 70 dB.

Summary

Climate crisis, high energy costs or heavy reliance on energy imports – there are plenty of reasons why something needs to change. The use of a comfort ventilation system is a big step in the right direction, at least at the construction stage. At the same time, residents and operators benefit from numerous unit features. So comfort ventilation is very much worthwhile. We work with you to develop the optimum solution for your construction project and you can rely on our more than 40 years experience in the ventilation industry.
